For LewdChat, the payment method changes the renewal question. The current FAQ says a crypto-paid plan stops when its paid term ends. A monthly plan purchased as a renewing Telegram Stars subscription can charge the Stars balance every 30 days. Do not use one route’s rule to predict the other.
This is a reading guide to the published FAQ and terms. It does not document a purchase or cancellation attempt, and it cannot confirm the state of your individual subscription. Your own receipt and current billing screen are the evidence for that.
Find the receipt before changing the account
Start with the purchase record. Note the date, plan, duration, amount, transaction reference and payment method. A plan name alone is incomplete: two people using a similarly named plan may have paid through different rails.
For a crypto payment, keep the invoice reference and confirmation rather than a wallet’s private credentials. For Telegram Stars, retain the subscription or payment reference shown by Telegram. Never send a recovery phrase, private key or login code to support.
If you cannot find a receipt, check the account you actually used to pay. Do not purchase another plan merely to see whether the first worked. A missing email and a missing entitlement are separate problems; collecting the original transaction reference helps support distinguish them.
Follow the route that applies
The published rules make three useful distinctions:
| Purchase | What to check |
|---|---|
| Crypto-paid plan | Its paid end date; the FAQ says it does not renew automatically. |
| Monthly renewing Stars plan | Renewal status and the next 30-day charge; cancellation may be needed. |
| Yearly plan or coin pack | The FAQ describes these as non-renewing; retain the receipt and verify the particular offer. |
A one-off coin pack is not a monthly subscription simply because it is spent over several weeks. Equally, a Stars balance is a payment source, not a cancellation instruction. Having little money in it is not the same evidence as a cancelled renewal.
For Stars, look for cancellation confirmation
The FAQ describes two cancellation routes: the site’s Billing page and Telegram’s Stars subscription settings. Use the route that identifies the actual renewing subscription. The interface you see may evolve, so follow the current labels rather than a remembered screenshot.
A completed cancellation should leave something you can retain: a cancelled renewal status, an end-of-term date or a confirmation message. Record that result and the time. Merely opening a billing page, closing a tab or removing the app does not demonstrate that a renewal instruction changed.
The provider says access continues until the end of the term already paid for. Cancellation therefore does not necessarily make features disappear immediately. Check the renewal status itself rather than using continued access as proof that cancellation failed.
Keep expiry, cancellation and refunds separate
Expiry means a paid term ends. Cancellation means future renewal is stopped. A refund means money or payment credit is returned. One action does not automatically establish the other two.
LewdChat’s terms generally describe purchases as non-refundable, while preserving rights that applicable law does not allow the provider to exclude. They also discuss unmatched Stars payments being returned to the paying Telegram account. That is a specific processing situation, not a general change-of-mind refund promise.
If something went wrong, describe the actual issue: duplicate charge, unmatched payment, missing credit or disputed renewal. Include the receipt and a short timeline. Do not assume that deleting the account will improve a billing investigation; it can remove convenient access to the information you need.
A compact closing check
Before considering the matter finished, answer four questions in your own notes:
- Which account and payment route did this purchase use?
- What term have I already paid for?
- If it renews, where is the confirmation that renewal is cancelled?
- Have I kept the transaction reference and relevant support reply?
If you are unsure about the payment method or renewal status, resolve that uncertainty before deleting the account. The goal is a verifiable end state, not a long support conversation. A short record is enough when it identifies the purchase and shows what happens next.
